Food Allergy Research - Part II

Jamie Stern - Friday, May 14, 2010

As a follow up to my blog post Wednesday on the recent New York Times piece, I wrote a news article for The Examiner to include yesterday's FAAN & FAI response. You can read more of my article : Food Allergy Research Raises
More Questions than it Answers
.

Don't forget, Food Allergy Awareness week ends tomorrow, but Celiac Disease Awareness is a focus through the end of this month. Do your part to make everyone AWARE!

Have a safe weekend.

More Research to Clarify Real Scope of Food Allergies

Jamie Stern - Wednesday, May 12, 2010
Hope everyone is doing their part this week to promote Food Allergy Awareness Week and Celiac Disease Awareness Month.

For me, I am using all my social media tools to put informative messages out to the general public...one person made aware could potentially find a diagnosis or save a life!

There was a New York Times article I just found that outlines a
"new report, commissioned by the federal government, finds the (Food Allergy Research/Testing) field is rife with poorly done studies, misdiagnoses and tests that can give misleading results."

Now that's a sentence to grab most people's attention!

I have posted this on the website so read about this new project to understand more about Food Allergies.

Share your thoughts on this after you get a chance to review it.
